Malady Encore Screening at the East End Film Festival 2015

After selling out our 8th July screening for Malady at the East End Film Festival we have been lucky enough to have an Encore Screening added on the 12th July!!

The screening beings at 16:30 and will start with a short film called ‘This is All of Us’ by Nadia Connors. Tickets are £8.

‘This is All of Us’

THIS IS ALL OF US is a documentary film (27 mins) directed by filmmaker Nadia Conners that follows four protestors from their private moments alone in the morning through to their convergence upon a large protest in downtown Los Angeles for May Day. It is an observational film about going from isolation to connection, a portrait of the activists, tracking their excitement, boredom, futility, difficulty, danger, and bonding. It is visually poetic, intimate film with a beautiful original  score by Eric Avery about the physical nature of direct activism. This Is All of Us captures the personal space – in body and mind – of these select participants – getting behind the mask . By going from private space to public participation the film unpacks the sometimes inaccessible images of the ‘protestors’ in the media. Two of the ‘protestors’ the film follows had been canonized as faces of the Occupy movement on covers of Time Magazine and Adbusters.

Information on purchasing tickets and full synopsis for both films can be found here

In Discussion with Tom Wilton at Cinema Zero

This last weekend I was lucky enough to be able to catch up with Tom Wilton. I met Tom at the Cinequest Film Festival, he was there supporting his own film as writer/producer ‘Elsewhere NY’ (directed by Jeffery P. Nesker). Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to catch the film at Cinequest but am hoping to finally see it whilst it screens at the East End Film Festival (For information and tickets for the EEFF screening of ‘Elsewhere NY’ click here

Anyway, me and Tom spoke at length about the making of Malady, Cinequest, East End Film Festival, the writing of Transformers 5 and filmmaking in general. You can see (directly up my nose) the video below:

I just want to thank Tom and Cinema Zero for his time on Sunday – be sure to give them a follow at

Malady to screen at the East End Film Festival

I’m incredibly excited to announce that Malady will be having it’s European Premiere in the United Kingdom this July as part of the East End Film Festival.

I’ve been following the festival for a while now, their line ups are always littered with interesting, unique looking films from all over the world – so it’s a huge privilege to be a part of one of this years programme!

Malady will be screening on the 8th July at the Genesis Cinema in Studio 5 (an incredible luxury cinema screen – check out images on their website). The film will be followed by a Q and A session and their will be a drinks meet up before the film at the Genesis Cinema.

I’d really like to thank Ross Clarke, Michael Rabehl and everyone at the East End Film Festival for their support with Malady.

You can check out the page for our film, along with the link to purchase tickets as well as access to the rest of the programme at the following link…
